Chairman's Community Showcase

The event is to support local organisations and community groups as they exhibit and share their services – there are over 30 local organisations confirmed for the event!

Refreshments will be provided and there will be many prizes up for grabs if you participate in the Chairman’s Charity Tombola!

The Chairman is also very happy to welcome back a very special guest… Baloo the dog! Baloo is an ex-police dog that was sadly injured in service and now only has three legs. Despite her injuries she is currently thriving and is now a wellbeing dog that attends community events throughout the county. Last year she won the Crufts Hero Dog Award 2025! You can fine out more about Baloo here: www.teambaloofund.org and look forward to meeting her on the day!

Please note there is no parking at the Institute. The nearest pay and display car parks are: 

Sainsbury’s, 1 Tofts Walk Braintree CM7 1XH and Howard Hall Masonic Centre, 36 Bocking End, Braintree, CM7 9AA. 

Free parking is available at George Yard Multi Storey Car Park, Wheatsheaf Road, Braintree CM7 1GF on the top floor only.
