Unlike many larger venues, The Institute is a registered charity that receives no government support or Arts Council funding. We rely entirely on ticket sales, bar revenue, and the incredible dedication of our staff and volunteers to keep our doors open. While every ticket bought and drink shared at our bar helps us today, we also look toward the future of The Institute.​

If you’d like to help us continue our work, please consider making a one-off donation when booking your tickets. These contributions go directly toward the upkeep of our historic space and the technical costs of putting on the shows you love.

Make your donation go 25% further with Gift Aid
If you are a UK taxpayer, you can boost your donation by 25p for every £1 you give—at no extra cost to you! By ticking the Gift Aid box when you donate, you authorise The Institute to reclaim the basic rate of tax you have already paid on that money turning a £10 donation into £12.50!
